  • HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE CLASS
    Funding for a high school science class to participate in a cadaver teleconference that was not included in the original budget.

    A donation to partially fund costs for this group to serve the community.


    LIBRARY MEDIA MAKER SPACE
    Partial funding was provided to cover costs for a program designed to expand student and staff’s use of the library.


    PRIME TIME
    Partial funding to purchase supplies for this end-of-the-year tradition.

     

     

Spring 2023

  • INDOOR SENSORY PATH
    Partial funding was provided to purchase materials to build a sensory pathway in an elementary building that will be accessible to all students.

     
    FIELD TRIPS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
    Partial funding was provided to defray costs for additional field trips that the district does not cover.


    SCHOOL POST OFFICE
    Partial funding to purchase supplies and set up the program in an elementary building.

     

Fall 2022

  • SKI TRIP
    A donation was provided to partially fund this experience that will coordinate with Connect Kids with NYS parks.

    SERVICE CLUB
    Partial funding was provided to defray costs for this group to serve the community.

     

    LEARN TO PLAY LACROSSE
    Partial funding will be used to purchase supplies to expand participation in the district lacrosse program.


    WIGGLE CHAIR
    This grant will fund the purchase of a wiggle chair in an elementary building to provide large motor movement to students who would benefit from this option. 


    MAGNETIC LETTERS
    This grant partially funds the purchase of materials relevant to the district’s phonemic awareness program.

     

Spring 2022

  • PAUL ROAD HIKING CLUB
    The grant helps the club to purchase supplies for each topic covered.

     

    PRIME TIME
    A donation was made to defray costs associated with this end-of-the-year event.

     

    MODEL UN
    This grant will help assist students wishing to attend the Model UN conference.

     

    PANTHER PRIDE CLUB
    Funds will be used to purchase supplies promoting better understanding of diversity in the school.


    ARTS INTEGRATION DIVERSITY WRITING PROJECT
    This grant will help the art teacher, librarian and third-grade students write their stories to further diversity learning.

     
    BRASSER SENSORY PATHWAY
    This grant will be used to purchase materials to build a sensory pathway in another elementary building that will be accessible to all students.

     

Fall 2021

  • CLASS OF 2022
    This grant will help reduce student costs for the many activities honoring the senior class.

     

Spring 2021

  • BOYS TENNIS CAMP
    With this funding, the Boys Tennis program can rebuild through participation in a tennis summer camp.

     

Fall 2020

  • SENIOR BALL
    This grant will help with costs associated with senior activities. COVID limited students’ ability to fundraise this year.

    This grant will help to defray costs for the Class of 2023. COVID limited students’ ability to fundraise this year.

     

    ACADEMIC VARSITY LETTER
    As COVID limited the ability to fundraise for the annual event, this grant will help make it possible.

  • MODEL UN
    This grant will help assist students wishing to attend the Model UN conference. 

    PRIME TIME
    A donation was made to defray costs for recognizing and honoring graduating seniors. 

    GIRLS SOFTBALL TRAINING TRIP
    The grant will supplement student fundraising efforts to attend a training program.

     

Fall 2019

  • MAKER SPACE COLLECTION
    This grant will allow for the launch of a districtwide collection of library maker materials for use by students and staff.

    PERISHABLE ITEMS FOR HIGH SCHOOL HONORS BIOLOGY EXPERIMENTS
    With this grant, all Honors Biology students will be able to conduct microbiology experiments.

     

    VIRTUAL CLASSROOM KIT
    This grant will allow for the purchase of virtual classroom kits that will be shared throughout the four elementary buildings.

     

Spring 2019

  • INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY
    This grant will serve third-grade students as they work in small groups in an integrated, co-taught classroom by helping fund display monitors.     

    EV3 LEGO Robot Education Sets
    The grant helps to replace materials used by the sixth-grade science students.

     

Fall 2018

  • SENSORY PATHWAY
    This grant will be used to purchase materials to build a sensory pathway in an elementary building that will be accessible to all students.  

    TEENS HELP ELDERS WITH DEMENTIA REVIVE MEMORIES THROUGH MUSIC 
    This grant will support a service project for students wishing to participate in this pilot program.

     

    NEWS2YOU
    With this funding, the teacher of this class will be able to fully implement the curriculum as it relates to News2you.

     

Spring 2018

  • TIME WARNER PLUS WATCHES
    This grant will be used to purchase watches for students to help them develop more positive classroom behaviors and support academic skills.

    HIGH SCHOOL PRIME TIME EVENT
    A donation was made to support the district's effort to keep soon-to-be graduates safe after Senior Ball.

     

Spring 2017

  • MODEL UNITED NATIONS CLUB
    A grant was awarded to help defray the costs associated with student participation in UN conferences.

    ACADEMIC VARSITY CEREMONY
    This grant was awarded to support purchases related to the associated ceremony for students who are inducted into this organization.

     

    ELEMENTARY STEM LEGOS
    A grant was made for the purchase of Legos to promote STEM thinking and problem-solving.

     

    GRANTS FOR DUAL-CREDIT COLLEGE COURSES
    A high school student in economic need received funding to cover the cost of taking a dual credit course at Roberts Wesleyan College.

     

    NATIONAL STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE IN BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUMMER 2017
    A contribution was made to a high school student’s attendance at this conference.

     

Fall 2017

  • MODEL UNITED NATIONS CLUB
    A grant was awarded to help defray the costs associated with student participation in UN conferences.

    3D PRINTER FOR PAUL ROAD LIBRARY
    This grant was awarded to allow students to create and be innovative in designing commonly used objects in their school environment.

     

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES AT NEIL ARMSTRONG SCHOOL
    A partial grant was awarded to fund various equipment and supplies for our students who exhibit attention concerns.

     

    GRANTS FOR DUAL CREDIT COLLEGE COURSES
    Two high school students in economic need received funding to cover the cost of dual credit college courses.

     

    GRANTS TO FUND EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
    An individual student with health and financial challenges was supported to enable participation in a field trip.

     

Spring 2016

  • ​SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LIBRARY COLLECTION
    A grant provided funding to an elementary school’s school psychologist to begin building a social-emotional library collection for our students, families and staff across the district.  We are pleased to have funded this resource and provide much needed support for our greater Gates Chili community.

    SUPPORTING NEW ARTS INTEGRATION INITIATIVE
    A grant was awarded to support the new district initiative around arts integration in our schools. This grant will help students acquire wider educational knowledge about the arts.

     

Fall 2016

  • MOTOR BOXES FOR INCOMING UPK AND KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
    A grant was awarded to Neil Armstrong’s Occupational Therapists to fund “motor boxes” for 150 incoming UPK and Kindergarten students.  This grant enables some of our students with help to develop the motor tools they need to enter UPK and Kindergarten.

    GRANTS FOR DUAL CREDIT COLLEGE COURSES
    A number of individual high school students in economic need received funding to cover the cost of Roberts Wesleyan dual credit courses.
