    Dear Paul Road Families,

We hope you had an amazing holiday break and are refreshed and ready for 2019!

We have many events and opportunities coming at school with some amazing traditions also just around the corner.

The first opportunity on the horizon is the construction project at PRS moving AHEAD of schedule.  Contractors are expected to begin the project as early as February Recess, leaving the school under construction for the remainder of the school year, with finishing touches being added through September.  The anticipated completion date is October 1, 2019.

The construction and renovations should not interfere with instruction, but there will be some visible changes throughout the school.  Please note that we place student and staff safety first, followed by our commitment to a quality education.  Neither of these will be compromised during the construction project.  In fact, the contractors who were awarded the Paul Road bid all have experience working in schools.  Most of the work will be done after school hours, during holiday breaks and during the summer months.

In the meantime, please mark your calendar for the following events:

    1/24 - Family Fun Night - Chuck - E - Cheese (Greece Location)
1/25 - Superintendent's Conference Day - No School for Students

    2/18 - February Recess - No School

Thank you also to families who continue clipping and saving General Mills Boxtops.  Each year our school raises over $3,000 for field trips and special projects, just by collecting box tops.  We are continuing to collect these through the remainder of the school year.  Every boxtop helps our school and is redeemed for cash through the General Mills Boxtops for Education Program.

Best wishes for a safe and healthy 2019!

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Hens & Mr. D'Abreu
