• This year marks the 53rd anniversary of Paul Road School, one of four elementary schools within the Gates Chili School District. Among the largest elementary buildings, there are nearly 440 students enrolled at PRS in grades pre-K -5.

Our school maintains 80 professional and support staff members, both full-time and part-time staff. In addition, parents make up a caring and dedicated group of district-approved volunteers who eagerly support our school's program.

Paul Road students are immersed in a literacy-rich learning environment, wherein teachers utilize leveled fiction and informational books to foster development as independent readers. Academic services are available to support students' growth in reading and math through our reading and math intervention programs. Additionally, extra support is offered by several highly qualified teachers in the areas of special education, speech and language, physical and occupational therapies, and counseling.

The availability of extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities continue evolving to reflect student interest. Our students typically have an option of being involved in the band program, chorus, intramural athletics, photo club, Lego Club, Girls on the Run, Geography Bee, art club, Panther Press, and various service learning projects. Additional programs continue in the planning stages and are often generously supported by the Paul Road School & Family Association  (PRSFA) as well as through our School Improvement Team.

Families and visitors to our school website with questions about our school programs are welcome to contact Principal Hens at: Peter_Hens@gateschili.org or Sean_D'abreu@gateschili.org.
