Free meals for children

  • Just like the summer months, the Gates Chili School Nutrition Program is participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s School Closure Meal Program, which provides free meals to students during school closure. Any child in the community, 18 years and younger, may get a free meal. There are no income requirements or registration. The lunch menu will be posted below each day. This program is fully-funded by the USDA, so there is no cost to district taxpayers. The USDA is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer.
