The Gates Chili Board of Education has appointed Kylie Smith (left) and Lindsey Georger (right) as the next assistant principals of Florence Brasser and Neil Armstrong elementary schools.

Georger comes to Gates Chili from the Rochester City School District. In her more than decade there, she was a bilingual elementary teacher and instructional coach. Meanwhile, Smith comes to GC from the Geneva City School District. During her time in Geneva, she was a teacher and served as interim assistant principal.

Smith and Georger's new roles take effect on July 1.
