School Improvement Team


    The School Improvement Team (SIT) is a school-based planning and shared decision making team comprised of 7-10 members, which include 2-3 parents, 3-4 teachers, 1 non-instructional staff person, and the principal. 

    Members serve two-year terms and are elected on a rotating basis, so that there are always new and experienced members working together.  Training for new members is held at the beginning of each school year. The team meets approximately once a month during the school year to plan activities and sponsor events that will support the instructional program and improve our school.
