“"I feel so blessed that my children attend a school district that values the arts and is committed to providing experiences that allow them to passionately pursue their interests. This opportunity is unique and so special. I hear parents from other districts speak as to how they wished the opportunity was provided there. Bravo Gates Chili!”

Using the arts in the classroom, throughout all dimensions of a student's curriculum, is one of many ways to build creativity, critical thinking, and to bring the outside world into the classroom, connecting it with the student's own personal world. The arts allow all students to enter their learning on a level playing field, and to learn from each other, as well as to teach each other. We are very fortunate in Gates Chili to have Administrators, Teachers, and Staff at all levels who recognize the power of the arts in helping students grow not only academically, but personally. Through the use of the arts in the classroom, Gates Chili continues to encourage and support creativity and innovation in all levels of our district.
