Hi Everyone! This is my thirtieth year teaching at Paul Road School. I can't believe it's been that long. I have taught both second and fourth grades here and enjoy both very much. I am very excited to be back at second grade this year. Hopefully, we will learn a lot and have fun while we're doing it!

I live in the Rochester area with my husband, Steve, and our family. We have a sixteen year old, Emily, who is in eleventh grade this year!  She's very excited to be going back  to high school. She loves to come and help out in my classroom whenever she can. Then there is our nineteen year old daughter, Julia. She is a sophomore in college this year! She is becoming very independent. There is also my stepson, Chad, and he is 29 years old. He is working for the Rochester Americans hockey team and the Buffalo Bills and loves both. He is hoping for a great season! As you can see, I keep very busy with my family.

In my freetime I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, traveling, biking and most of all spending time with my family. We vacation often in Florida, where my sister lives, and in the Tug Hill area of New York. We have many weekend getaways where we enjoy the water in the summer and the snow in the winter. I even go snowmobiling once in a while!

Whenever I have a chance, I visit my parents' farm where three of my siblings also work.  I am the youngest of 10 children, so I have a lot of family to visit! It was quite an experience growing up with 9 brothers and sisters on a farm! Our family dairy farm is still going strong in Caledonia, where the girls love to go see their aunts, uncles and cousins, and of course the cows!

p.s. Julia and Emily say Hi!
